A tragic incident unfolded in Denver’s Globeville neighborhood when a 21-year-old motorcycle rider was arrested on suspicion of vehicular homicide after a fatal crash. The Denver Police Department reported that the accident occurred near southbound Interstate 25 and Park Avenue West around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday.
The aftermath of the crash led to the closure of southbound I-25 from I-70 to 20th Street for more than two hours, causing significant disruption to traffic flow in the area. Tragically, a passenger on the motorcycle succumbed to their injuries as a result of the collision. The driver, identified as Jacob Blackmon, was taken into custody the following day.
