Orlando Pirates Secure the Signing of Sipho MbulePirates snap up free Mbule‘A fantastic player’

Orlando Pirates have made a significant acquisition with the signing of talented midfielder Sipho Mbule.

Pirates snap up free Mbule

Mbule recently became a free agent after parting ways with Mamelodi Sundowns at the conclusion of the season.

The 27-year-old’s skills on the field have always been evident, but his career has been overshadowed by off-the-field challenges. It remains to be seen whether Pirates’ new head coach, Abdelsam Ouaddou, can unlock Mbule’s full potential.

Ouaddou has previously expressed his admiration for Mbule, stating, “One other player that I love… his style of play, maybe his behavior is not so good. But I think it is a question of management. These players need someone to be close to them, to understand they are good players but they have to manage their lifestyles. This is Mbule.”

‘A fantastic player’

“Mbule is a fantastic player, he is the kind of player I would like to have in my team,” Ouaddou added.

Initially, Mbule was heavily linked with Kaizer Chiefs, and his agent, Mike Makaab, confirmed that the player had been offered to the club. He tweeted on June 8, “Sipho Mbule has been offered to Kaizer Chiefs. It is up to the club to make the decision and we need to respect that decision.”
