The University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) has taken a significant step towards shaping future leaders by partnering with Maxwell Investments Group and the Africa School of Entrepreneurship (ASoE) to provide students with practical leadership and entrepreneurial training. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the three entities aims to equip students with the necessary skills to thrive in today’s dynamic world.

The official signing ceremony, held at the University of Ghana, brought together prominent figures from academia and the private sector to emphasize the importance of merging theory with practice in leadership education. Professor Justice Bawole, Dean of Students at UGBS, stressed the need for students to not only possess academic knowledge but also real-world leadership capabilities.

Dr. Maxwell Ampong, CEO of Maxwell Investments Group, highlighted the long-term vision behind the collaboration, stating that it is an investment in human capital that will contribute to Ghana’s overall development agenda. He described the partnership as a platform for transformation, providing students with practical leadership lessons and entrepreneurial tools to shape their future.

The Africa School of Entrepreneurship will play a crucial role in delivering mentorship programs, workshops, and business simulations to enhance students’ decision-making and leadership skills. The presence of key stakeholders such as UN Global Compact Network Ghana, Zenith Bank (Ghana) Ltd, and Deloitte Ghana at the event underscores the significance of preparing young people to lead with integrity and innovation.

As the partnership aims to deepen collaboration, it signifies a crucial milestone in preparing young individuals to take on leadership roles with a sense of responsibility in both local and global contexts. The initiative will empower students to lead with integrity, innovation, and a deep sense of responsibility, paving the way for a new generation of purpose-driven leaders.

By providing students with practical leadership and entrepreneurial training, the collaboration sets the stage for a new era of impactful leadership in Ghana and beyond.
