Tragedy Strikes as Eight People Killed in KwaZulu-Natal Shooting
Tragedy struck the Zama informal settlement at U Section, Umlazi, KwaZulu-Natal as at least eight people lost their lives in a horrific shooting incident.
On Friday evening, police were called to the scene where they discovered the lifeless bodies of six men and two women, whose ages ranged from 22 to 40 years old. The victims were found lying in a pool of blood, each with multiple gunshot wounds.
According to police spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda, the victims were inside a dwelling when an unknown number of suspects entered and opened fire, resulting in their tragic deaths.
As investigations into the motive behind the killings are ongoing, authorities have launched a manhunt for the suspects responsible for this heinous crime.
