Bryan Johnson, a multimillionaire known for his extreme anti-aging regimen, has recently come under fire for his use of nondisclosure agreements to silence those around him. Reports have surfaced of his peculiar behavior, such as walking around his office naked and discussing intimate details about his sexual activities, including erections.
Johnson reportedly spends a staggering $2 million annually on his health routine, which includes taking 54 pills and supplements daily, tracking his nighttime erections, undergoing shock therapy, and even receiving blood transfusions from his then-17-year-old son. He claims that this regimen has reversed his age by 5.1 years and has garnered a following for his “Don’t Die” religion.
Despite his public image as an anti-aging mogul, behind the scenes, Johnson has been accused of pressuring employees, vendors, and others to sign restrictive confidentiality agreements. These agreements, some as long as 20 pages, contain a range of restrictions on disclosing any nonpublic information about Johnson’s personal life, home, and activities.
Former employees have revealed that Johnson’s behavior in the workplace was often inappropriate, with him frequently walking around scantily clad and making sexual advances towards female staff members. However, many felt unable to speak up due to the strict NDAs they were required to sign.
One of Johnson’s former personal assistants, Jamie Contento, raised concerns about the work environment and filed a complaint with human resources. She is one of several former employees to take issue with Johnson’s use of confidentiality agreements, with some even filing complaints with the National Labor Relations Board.
Johnson’s ex-fiancee, Taryn Southern, also had a contentious relationship with him, accusing him of firing her from his company after she was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. She alleged that he pressured her to sign an NDA with a $500,000 penalty for any breaches of confidentiality.
Despite Johnson’s claims of reversing his biological age, reports suggest that data regarding his health may have been manipulated to present a more favorable image. Blood test results have indicated that his biological age may have actually increased by as much as 10 years.
In response to the mounting criticism, Johnson has defended his actions, claiming that the allegations against him have been debunked in legal forums. However, the controversy surrounding his behavior and use of NDAs continues to raise questions about his credibility and ethics.
