Nsano Ltd, a leading pan-African fintech company, has recently opened its East Africa regional office in Rwanda after receiving Payment Aggregation and Payment Remittances Service Licenses from the National Bank of Rwanda. The company’s track record of providing secure payment solutions has been instrumental in its expansion across various African markets.

Priscilla Hazel, Group CEO of Nsano, expressed excitement about establishing a presence in Rwanda, citing the country’s emergence as a rapidly growing technology hub in Africa. The smooth and transparent licensing process facilitated by the National Bank of Rwanda was also acknowledged. Hazel emphasized Nsano’s goal of becoming Africa’s premier digital payment processor and highlighted the benefits of expanding their presence across the continent to provide customers with cross-market synergies.

Nsano has garnered attention in recent months, particularly following a groundbreaking partnership with AFS in February aimed at revolutionizing card payments across Africa.

Founded in Ghana in 2013, Nsano has evolved into a prominent Pan-African fintech company, transforming the payment landscape over the past decade. With regional offices in Ghana, Zambia, Côte d’Ivoire, Rwanda, and the UK, the company’s payment processing operations extend to more than 30 countries. Nsano holds licenses from the Bank of Ghana, the Central Bank of Zambia, and the National Bank of Rwanda.

This expansion into East Africa solidifies Nsano’s position as a key player in the fintech industry and reinforces its commitment to providing innovative payment solutions across the continent.
