President Bio Attends Armed Forces of Liberia Anniversary

State House Sierra Leone

His Excellency President Dr. Julius Maada Bio, along with his wife, Dr. Fatima Maada Bio, has left Sierra Leone to visit Liberia and participate in the 68th Anniversary of the Armed Forces of Liberia.

The President and First Lady accepted an invitation from His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai Sr., the President of Liberia, to attend as Special Guest and Keynote Speaker at the national event scheduled for Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at the Barclay Training Centre in Liberia.

The annual celebration honoring the Armed Forces of Liberia holds great significance for the country’s government and citizens, acknowledging the commitment and sacrifices made by their brave military personnel. This year’s theme, “Sustaining Our Peace and Security Through Stakeholder Engagement: The Role of the Armed Forces,” highlights the importance of collaboration in maintaining peace and security.
