Misa Hylton—acclaimed fashion designer, stylist and mother to Diddy’s son Justin Combs—is speaking up and calling out the feds for the “deplorable” way they raided the Bad Boy producer’s Los Angeles and Miami homes.
In a post to Instagram on Thursday, Misa expressed her frustrations over the mistreatment of both her son and Diddy’s other son Christian “King” Combs, describing what the fed did as an “attempt to humiliate and terrorize.” She also posted footage of the raids from inside the home, which shows how the officers engaged with the two men in real time.
“The over zealous and overtly militarized force used against my sons Justin and Christian is deplorable. If these were the sons of a non-Black celebrity, they would not have been handled with the same aggression,” Misa began. “The attempt to humiliate and terrorize these innocent young BLACK MEN is despicable!”
She continued:
Enough is Enough! Did Justin need several laser beams from firearms pointed at his chest?? Did Christian need a gun pointed at the back of his head while he was handcuffed?? How many times have we seen young UNARMED BLACK MEN not make it out of these types of situations alive??
I have retained Attorney Jeffrey Lichtman to represent my son and he is investigating the excessive use of force which was unnecessary and certainly not required by this search warrant.
“We will fight for justice utilizing every imaginable resource. I’m not with the propaganda!!!!” she concluded.
As previously reported by The Root, both Justin and Christian Combs have been named in the bombshell sexual assault and sexual abuse lawsuit lobbed against their Diddy by former producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones. Christian is also listed as a co-defendant.
Amid mostly silence from Diddy’s regular collaborators about the situation, Stevie J. has been one of Diddy’s few public supporters.
