Wednesday Season 2 Release Date, Cast and Trailer

  • Where can I watch Wednesday season 2?

    Wednesday season 2 will be available for streaming exclusively on Netflix. Both parts of the season will premiere on the platform, with Part 1 arriving on Wednesday, 6 August 2025, and Part 2 following on Wednesday, 3 September 2025.

    Make sure to mark your calendars and get ready for another thrilling season of the beloved Addams Family spin-off!

    Ogawa – Yoko Tanaka, Catherine Zeta-Jones – Morticia Addams, Luis Guzmán – Gomez Addams, Isaac Ordonez – Pugsley Addams, Fred Armisen – Uncle Fester, Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo – Deputy Ritchie Santiago, Jamie McShane – Sheriff Donovan Galpin. These are just a few of the talented individuals who will be starring in the highly anticipated Season 2 of the hit Netflix series, Wednesday.

    But the star-studded cast doesn’t stop there. Season 2 will also feature Steve Buscemi, known for his roles in Reservoir Dogs, Fargo, Boardwalk Empire, and The Sopranos. Buscemi will be taking on the role of Barry Dort, a mysterious character rumored to be the new headmaster of the Nevermore Academy.

    Joining Buscemi is Billie Piper, known for her work in Doctor Who, Penny Dreadful, and I Hate Suzie. Piper will be portraying the enigmatic character Capri in the upcoming season.

    Veteran actress Joanna Lumley, best known for her roles in Fool Me Once and Absolutely Fabulous, will be playing the role of Grandmama in Season 2.

    Thandiwe Newton, known for her performances in Westworld and Crash, will be taking on the role of Dr. Fairburn in the upcoming season.

    And let’s not forget Christopher Lloyd, who famously portrayed Uncle Fester in the Addams Family films. While his role in Wednesday Season 2 remains a mystery, fans are eagerly anticipating his appearance.

    In addition to these stars, the cast of Season 2 will also include Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, Noah Taylor, Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, and Joonas Suotamowill.

    Co-showrunners Miles Millar and Al Gough expressed their excitement for the upcoming season, stating that their goal was to bring in fresh faces and acting legends to join Jenna and the gang at Nevermore. With the talent assembled for Season 2, they couldn’t be more thrilled.

    Unfortunately, Percy Hynes White will not be returning as Xavier Thorpe in Season 2, as the actor left the show following allegations of sexual assault in 2023.

    As for a trailer for Wednesday Season 2, the official teaser gives fans a glimpse of the Addams Family preparing for some dark shenanigans. Netflix has also released an announcement video teasing the upcoming episodes.

    With such a talented cast and intriguing storyline, fans of Wednesday are eagerly anticipating the premiere of Season 2. Stay tuned for more updates and be sure to catch all the spooky fun when the new season drops.
