Sarah Nyarko, a rising star in Ghanaian women’s football, showcased her talent and skill on Wednesday as she was named the Player of the Match in Police Ladies’ victory over Sam Nelly. The young midfielder played a key role in her team’s 3-1 win against the Benin side in the ongoing WAFU B Women’s Champions League Qualifiers.

Known for her versatility on the field, Sarah proved to be a constant threat to the Sam Nelly defense, displaying impressive performance throughout the match. Her ability to outplay the opposition’s fullbacks and create scoring opportunities was a highlight of the game.

Playing on loan from Dreamz Ladies, Sarah made a significant impact by scoring the second goal of the match, capitalizing on a well-delivered cross from Laura Juul Hansen. Her performance earned her the recognition of being named the best player of the game at the Charles Konan Banny Stadium.

Having played the full duration of the game, Sarah’s stellar display in the first match will undoubtedly boost her confidence as she prepares for the upcoming crucial encounter against ASKO from Togo. The teenager’s talent and determination on the field are setting her up for a promising future in women’s football.
