President Donald Trump recently showered Fox News host Sean Hannity with praise during a trip on Air Force One, calling him “wonderful” and “an amazing professional.” Trump expressed his gratitude for Hannity’s support during the interview, which aired on Wednesday, commending him for his professionalism and dedication.

During the interview, Trump reiterated his baseless claims about the 2020 election, insisting that he had won every swing state and the popular vote by a significant margin. He also highlighted the number of districts he claimed to have won, emphasizing his perceived victory in the election.

Social media users were quick to criticize Trump for his lavish praise of Hannity, with some accusing the Fox News host of promoting propaganda and spreading misinformation. Despite Hannity’s public support of Trump and his election fraud claims, he testified during a 2022 deposition that he did not believe the allegations.

In addition to discussing the election, Trump also addressed the state of the Democratic Party following his victory over former Vice President Kamala Harris. He attributed his win to the party’s support of what he deemed to be “radical” causes, such as transgender rights and undocumented immigrants, suggesting that the party’s views were out of touch with the American people.

During the interview, Trump also touched upon his acceptance of the election results, while maintaining his belief that the proceedings were rigged against him. He justified his acceptance of a “free” $400 million jet from Qatar, despite the constitutional prohibition on U.S. officials receiving gifts from foreign nations without congressional approval.

The love fest between Trump and Hannity on national television sparked outrage on social media, with many users criticizing the two for their close relationship and perceived lack of journalistic integrity. Some users speculated that Hannity’s loyalty to Trump could result in a future position in the administration, further fueling the controversy surrounding their relationship.

Overall, the interview between Trump and Hannity showcased the deep admiration and mutual support between the two figures, highlighting the complex dynamics of media and politics in the modern era.
