TP Mazembe, FC Masar Dominate Tournament Best XI

The CAF Women’s Champions League Morocco 2024 Best XI has been announced by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), highlighting the top performers in the league.

Selected by the CAF Technical Study Group (TSG), which comprises coaches, technical advisors, and football experts, the Best XI represents the players who stood out during the competition.

The Best XI includes four players from FC Masar, four from TP Mazembe, two from AS FAR, and one from Edo Queens.

In goal, Habiba Sabry of FC Masar earned the title of Best Keeper for her exceptional saves and commanding presence.

The central defense is fortified by FC Masar’s Shadia Nankya and Aisha Nantongo, with Miracle Usani of Edo Queens on the left full-back position and Vukulu Belange of TP Mazembe on the right.

Marline Kasaj of TP Mazembe acts as the midfield anchor, providing crucial support throughout their championship-winning campaign.

The aggressive midfield duo consists of Sanaa Mssoudy from AS FAR and Sandrine Nyonkuru from FC Masar, adding creativity and flair to the lineup.

On the attacking front, Lacho Marta and Merville Kanjinga of TP Mazembe flank Doha El Madani of AS FAR, the tournament’s top scorer.
