The countdown is on for the upcoming Tourism Investment Forum Africa (TIFA) 2025, set to take place in the vibrant City of uMhlathuze. From August 27th to 29th, global investors and business leaders will converge on this strategic location for a deep dive into KwaZulu-Natal’s investment landscape.

One of the most anticipated highlights of TIFA 2025 is the exclusive investment project site visits scheduled for Wednesday, August 27th. These curated tours will provide participants with a firsthand look at shovel-ready projects that are poised to make a significant impact on the region.

Among the featured investment project site visits are:

– The Ridge Development: A mixed-use project that aims to transform the city’s skyline and lifestyle offerings.
– Steel Bridge – Gateway to the Richards Bay Waterfront: An iconic infrastructure project integral to unlocking economic and tourism potential in the area.
– Richards Bay International Conference Centre Development – Site: A flagship mixed-use development that will boost business events and tourism in the region.
– Waterfront Precinct Development – Premium Mixed-Use Investment Opportunity: A world-class initiative positioned to become a hub for business, lifestyle, and urban regeneration.
– Central Industrial Area – Richards Bay Multi-Modal Precinct: An investment environment designed to accelerate industrial growth.
– CBD South Extension – Modern Mixed-Use Development Opportunity: A project set to enhance the city’s urban appeal and economic vitality.
– Richards Bay Industrial Development Zone (RBIDZ): A premier investment destination on South Africa’s coastline.
– Richards Bay Airport Relocation and Redevelopment: A project aimed at driving economic growth and attracting long-term investment.

TIFA serves as a platform for destinations to showcase their investment opportunities within the tourism sector. By connecting key players in the industry, TIFA fosters actionable dialogue, networking, and the unlocking of investment opportunities across the tourism value chain.
