The West Africa Coatings Show is gearing up to be the premier event for professionals in the coatings industry. Taking place from 2-4 July 2025 at the Landmark Centre in Lagos, Nigeria, this trade exhibition is set to be a hub for business networking and professional engagement within the coatings sector.

With Nigeria’s paints and coatings market estimated to reach US$2.7 billion by 2025 and forecasted to grow at an annual rate of 4%, there is significant opportunity for growth within the industry. The demand for eco-friendly products, driven by rapid construction and urbanization, has led to a surge in the market. Decorative paints currently dominate the industry, while protective coatings are on the rise in sectors such as oil, gas, and infrastructure.

Recognizing the potential of Nigeria’s paints and coatings industry, the West Africa Coatings Show is being held in partnership with the Paint Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (PMA). With over 100 exhibiting brands from more than 15 countries, this event is set to be the largest gathering for the coatings community in West Africa.

Attendees can expect to connect with technical professionals from various sectors of the coatings industry, including manufacturers, raw material suppliers, distributors, buyers, chemists, and formulators. This presents a unique opportunity for networking, knowledge sharing, and exploring new commercial partnerships all under one roof.

Mr. Abimbolu Babatunde, Chairman of the Paint Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, expressed his excitement about the partnership with the West Africa Coatings Show, highlighting the event’s role in supporting innovation, raising industry standards, and creating new opportunities for local manufacturers. Paddy O’Neill, Associate Vice President of The Coatings Group, also emphasized the importance of the event in meeting the growing demand for industry connection and innovation in the region.

These sessions will explore the latest trends, market insights, and opportunities within the coatings industry, providing valuable knowledge for professionals in the sector.

Overall, the West Africa Coatings Show promises to be a valuable platform for industry professionals to gain insight, share ideas, and build strong relationships across the West African region. With a focus on innovation and growth, this event is set to establish a lasting platform for the coatings industry in West Africa.
