Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar, two former contestants on The Bachelor, have officially tied the knot after finding love on the popular reality dating show. The couple obtained their marriage license on May 2 in Travis County, Texas, and exchanged vows on May 23, according to court records.

Shallcross, 28, first appeared on Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey’s season of The Bachelorette before becoming the lead on season 27 of The Bachelor. It was on this season that he met Biggar, 30, and the two fell in love, culminating in a romantic proposal during the finale of the show.

In a heartfelt moment, Shallcross professed his love for Biggar, saying, “The love I feel for you is something I could’ve never imagined and something I thought a lot of my life I would never be able to deserve. I love you with all my heart. You’re the face I want to wake up to every morning. I want to go through life with you and only you. Kaity, I want to be with you forever.”

Following their time on The Bachelor, the couple moved in together in Austin, Texas, and later announced their plans to get married in October 2025. However, as their wedding planning progressed, Shallcross and Biggar made the decision to prioritize buying a house over splurging on a lavish wedding venue.

After realizing that their dream venue would require them to go over budget, the couple decided to back out of the contract and focus on their long-term goals. Shallcross explained, “It does not feel good to just go so into this venue when we’ve already established what our priorities are, which is buying a house and not a down payment for one day.”

Despite this setback, Shallcross and Biggar remained committed to each other and expressed their desire to elope in the near future. They plan to have a small ceremony for their elopement and then celebrate with a larger gathering of family and friends at a later date.

The couple’s love story is a testament to the power of finding true love in unexpected places, and their journey from reality TV to real-life marriage is a heartwarming tale of romance and commitment. We wish Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar a lifetime of happiness together as they embark on this new chapter of their lives.
