Tennis Power Couple De Minaur and Boulter Announce Engagement

Tennis power couple Alex de Minaur and Katie Boulter have revealed their engagement just before the commencement of the 2025 season this week.

The Australian, ranked ninth in the world, and Britain’s leading female player have been in a relationship for several years, with their announcement eliciting congratulations from the tennis community.

“We’ve been hiding a little secret,” the couple wrote on Instagram late Monday, with Boulter proudly displaying her engagement ring.

Among those offering well wishes were women’s tennis stars Paula Badosa and Madison Keys, while de Minaur’s fellow Australian Thanasi Kokkinakis humorously remarked: “It’s about time.”

De Minaur, aged 25, and Boulter, 28, both had remarkable seasons in 2024.

The Australian debuted in the top 10 for the first time, while Boulter achieved a personal best ranking of 23. This week, they will kick off their 2025 seasons at the mixed-teams United Cup in Sydney.
