Tanner Martin Felt ‘Blessed’ by Stage IV Cancer Diagnosis: Eulogy

In a heartfelt eulogy delivered during influencer Tanner Martin’s funeral service, his mother Kimberly Martin shared how he found solace and strength in his battle with stage IV cancer. Despite his illness, Tanner continued to attend sacrament meetings, showcasing his unwavering faith and positive outlook on life.

Kimberly recalled a poignant moment during Tanner’s chemotherapy session where she asked him if he felt angry or frustrated about his diagnosis. To her surprise, Tanner responded with gratitude, expressing how his illness had allowed him to experience the love of those around him, including family, friends, and medical staff. He found blessings in the midst of adversity and chose to focus on the love and support he received.

Tanner’s terminal cancer also introduced him to the kindness and compassion of nurses, doctors, and fellow patients, whom he described as amazing individuals. Despite his own struggles, he remained grateful and eager to uplift others with a smile and positive attitude.

Survived by his parents, Thomas and Kimberly Martin, brother Spencer Martin, wife Shay Wright, and their newborn daughter, Tanner leaves behind a legacy of faith, kindness, and love. His father, Thomas, spoke fondly of Tanner and the impact he had on those around him, emphasizing the precious moments shared with his son despite the challenges they faced together.

The Martin family, along with friends and loved ones, gathered to honor Tanner’s memory and celebrate his life, highlighting his enduring spirit and the profound impact he had on all who knew him. Tanner’s legacy of resilience and positivity serves as a testament to his strength and unwavering faith in the face of adversity.
