Southwest Airlines flight returns to Denver International Airport after cabin fails to pressurize
A Southwest Airlines plane bound for California had to return to Denver International Airport on Thursday after the cabin failed to fully pressurize, the airline confirmed.
Southwest Airlines Flight 4277 turned back after reaching 12,000 feet when the crew discovered the pressurization issue. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported, and oxygen masks were not needed, according to the airline’s statement.
The flight took off from DIA at 8:39 p.m. and landed back at the airport by 9:33 p.m., as per information from the airline and flight-tracking service FlightAware. Passengers who were on the flight headed to Oakland were rebooked on a later flight.
