Service and technology providers are increasingly becoming key players in Africa’s oil and gas industry, offering innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, drive innovation, and promote sustainability across various projects in the sector. These companies are pivotal in advancing exploration efforts and boosting production capacity, and they will be showcasing their strategies and upcoming projects at the inaugural Congo Energy & Investment Forum (CEIF) scheduled for March.

Set to take place in Brazzaville from March 24-26, CEIF 2025 will highlight the Republic of Congo’s energy ambitions, including plans to ramp up oil production to 500,000 barrels per day by 2027 and the introduction of its Gas Master Plan. With prominent service providers like Accenture and NOV participating in a detailed roundtable session at CEIF 2025, the country is well-positioned to demonstrate an improved business environment that welcomes both local and international companies.

The inaugural Congo Energy & Investment Forum, under the patronage of President Denis Sassou Nguesso and supported by the Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Société Nationale des Pétroles du Congo, will bring together global investors and local stakeholders to explore energy and infrastructure opportunities on a national and regional level. The event will delve into the latest gas-to-power projects and provide updates on ongoing expansions across the country.

NOV, a Houston-based company, is at the forefront of advancing Congo’s oil and gas capabilities through cutting-edge technologies and services that enhance operational efficiency and support sustainable energy development. With involvement in strategic initiatives across key African markets, NOV is making significant contributions to offshore exploration and production. The company’s commitment to local content and workforce development is evident through its efforts to transfer knowledge, create jobs, and empower communities.

On the other hand, Accenture, a professional services and consulting company, brings a wealth of industry experience in various sectors including oil and gas, utilities, chemicals, transportation, and technology. With a focus on clients in upstream, midstream, downstream, and oilfield services, Accenture is well-equipped to provide valuable insights and solutions to the industry. Executive and Associate Director Nosayaba Evboumwan from Accenture will be participating in the CEMAC Energy Dialogue roundtable session at CEIF 2025.

“The participation of NOV and Accenture at CEIF 2025 underscores the crucial role that service companies play in enhancing Congo’s oil and gas sector. Their expertise in technology, innovation, and workforce development is essential for driving sustainable growth and industry transformation,” states Energy Capital & Power Events and Project Director Sandra Jeque.

In conclusion, the upcoming Congo Energy & Investment Forum promises to be a significant platform for showcasing advancements in the oil and gas industry, with service providers like NOV and Accenture leading the way in driving innovation and sustainable development in the sector.
