Power FM Confirms Pabi Moloi’s Resignation
Power FM has officially confirmed that seasoned broadcaster Pabi Moloi has resigned from the station. The announcement comes after some listeners noticed Moloi’s absence from the lunchtime show, Power Lunch.
According to The Firm, a subsidiary of the Shilumana Group which owns Power FM, Moloi tendered her resignation on 31 July 2025, which was subsequently accepted. Moloi, who has been with Power FM for more than a decade, shared the news of her departure on social media, expressing her excitement for the new chapter ahead.
Following her resignation, Moloi has launched her own podcast, the Pabi Moloi Podcast, in collaboration with her younger brother Khabane. The podcast’s first episode is part of the It’s A Brother And A Sister channel, now available on YouTube and Spotify.
While Moloi’s departure marks a significant change for Power FM, the station has also seen other shifts in its lineup. Tshegohaco Moagi has been filling in for Moloi on Power Lunch since the beginning of August. Additionally, former station manager Rofhiwa Bologo, known as Tholi B, is no longer with the station after his employment agreement lapsed in August 2025.
Despite these changes, Power FM continues to provide opportunities for existing talent to step in, with Moagi temporarily hosting Power Lunch. The station remains committed to delivering quality content to its listeners and adapting to the evolving media landscape.
As Pabi Moloi embarks on her new journey in podcasting, her legacy at Power FM will undoubtedly be remembered by fans and colleagues alike. The broadcaster’s contributions to the station have left a lasting impact, and her presence will be missed on the airwaves.
