Ange Postecoglou Denies Player Involvement in Spurs Information Leak

Amid speculation about leaks concerning Tottenham Hotspur’s injuries and team selections, manager Ange Postecoglou has denied that one of his players is behind the information breach.

Postecoglou raised concerns about a possible “mole” within the club after reports surfaced about Wilson Odobert being sidelined due to a hamstring injury for the Europa League quarter-final match against Eintracht Frankfurt. Despite these reports, Odobert was listed as an unused substitute for the game.

Addressing the ongoing leak of information, Postecoglou expressed his frustration, stating that the issue has been recurring for some time. He emphasized the importance of maintaining confidentiality within the team and highlighted the detrimental impact of such leaks on the squad’s performance.

Postecoglou ruled out the involvement of agents or players in the leaks, citing the specificity of the details and the language used in the information disclosed. He expressed his disappointment over the breach of players’ medical records, emphasizing the need for privacy and respect for their personal information.

With Tottenham facing challenges in their Europa League campaign, Postecoglou stressed the importance of addressing the leaking issue internally and maintaining a culture of success within the club. He likened the situation to a detective work, highlighting the need to build a strong mentality and identity at the club.

As the team strives to overcome obstacles and achieve success, Postecoglou remains focused on handling the situation professionally and ensuring that the leak of sensitive information is addressed promptly and effectively.
