Paratus Group Expands Connectivity in East Africa with Launch of Paratus Tanzania

Paratus Group, a leading Pan-African telecommunications and network services provider, has announced the launch of Paratus Tanzania through a joint venture with Green Telecom. This strategic move aims to expand connectivity in East Africa and focus on key growth sectors, further solidifying Paratus Group’s presence in the region.

Just four months after the successful opening of Paratus Kenya, Martin Cox, Chief Commercial Officer of Paratus Group, expressed excitement about the launch in Tanzania. Cox highlighted the positive impact this development will have on businesses in the country that require high-quality connectivity services. With the necessary regulatory licenses secured, the partnership with Green Telecom will enable Paratus Tanzania to offer excellent connectivity and backup solutions to rural and underserved areas.

The joint venture between Paratus Group and Green Telecom will target key sectors in Tanzania, including tourism, mining, NGOs, the health sector, and the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP). With tourism numbers in Tanzania on the rise, opportunities in this sector are substantial. The launch is also expected to create numerous job opportunities in the coming year.

Green Telecom, established in 2013, initially focused on providing technology solutions for mobile network operators before expanding into connectivity and telecom network services. The company now specializes in delivering tailored solutions for managing and integrating clients’ network services.

By establishing a presence in Tanzania, Paratus Group strengthens its overall network service offering, allowing the company to provide customized network services for enterprises in need of fast, robust, and reliable connections across Africa and beyond. Cox emphasized Paratus Group’s commitment to driving Africa’s digital revolution, transforming connectivity across the continent, and empowering individuals and businesses to reach their full potential.
