In addition to Otumfuo’s traditional approach, Dr Boamah assured that the government is committed to supporting his efforts with security interventions to ensure long-lasting peace in Bawku. This two-pronged approach aims to address both the underlying traditional tensions and the immediate security concerns in the region.
Dr Boamah expressed confidence in the collaboration between government authorities and traditional leaders, believing that it will lead to a meaningful resolution of the conflict in Bawku. He also reiterated President John Dramani Mahama’s dedication to working closely with Otumfuo and other key stakeholders to achieve lasting stability in the region.
