The Academy Awards, also known as the Oscars, are the most prestigious awards in the film industry, and this year’s ceremony is set to take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday, 2 March 2025. The highly anticipated event will see Emilia Pérez leading the nominations with a total of 13 nods, followed closely by The Brutalist and Wicked, which have received 10 nominations each.

For those who have yet to watch Brady Corbet’s epic film, The Brutalist, or for those who simply want to rewatch it, we have put together a comprehensive guide on how to watch the movie in both the US and UK. Similarly, we have curated a similar round-up for Wicked, which has been a standout success in 2024.

The Oscars ceremony will be broadcast on TV and around the world, starting at 4pm PT on the West Coast US, 7pm ET on the East Coast US, and 12am GMT in the UK. The show is expected to last around 3½ hours, showcasing the best talent and performances in the film industry.

In the US, the Oscars will be airing on ABC, while viewers in the UK can catch the show on ITV1. For those who prefer not to stay up late, a highlights package of the ceremony will be broadcast on ITV1 at 10.45pm GMT on Monday, 3 March.

For viewers who prefer to watch the Oscars online, US audiences can stream the show live on Hulu, the ABC app, Hulu Live TV, YouTubeTV, AT&T TV, and FuboTV. UK viewers can stream the show on ITVX, which will also feature exclusive behind-the-scenes content and sneak peeks from the ceremony.
