The community of Abuakwa-Asenemaso in Ashanti is coming together to mourn the passing of Obaapanin Akosua Anima, also known as Hannah Owusu, who lived to the ripe age of 90. The One Week Observance for this beloved individual will take place on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at the forecourt of the Methodist Church in Abuakwa-Asenemaso.
Chief mourners Nana Yaw Agyeman Badu, Nana Sefah Ampem Darko, and Nana Yaw Amoako invite all friends and sympathizers to join them in honoring the life of Obaapanin Akosua Anima. The event will run from 11am to 6pm, allowing ample time for reflection and remembrance.
The children of Obaapanin Akosua Anima, including Kwadwo Obri Yeboah, Israel Yaw Manu, Gifty Awuah (also known as Eno Akua), John Awuah, and Yaw Darko, will be in attendance to pay their respects and receive the support of the community during this difficult time.
