Terrion Arnold‘s unfortunate January took a turn for the worse on Thursday when he had a frightening fall down a flight of stairs at his home.
Just after experiencing a devastating loss in a playoff game against the Commanders, the Detroit Lions cornerback slipped while descending the steps, with the entire incident captured on his home’s surveillance camera.
Arnold shared the footage on his social media, showing his slip at the top of the stairs, resulting in a slide down to the bottom.
Despite the frightening fall, the 21-year-old, a first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, miraculously escaped serious injury. The video shows his disbelief at the incident.
Despite the scary incident, Arnold found humor in the situation, captioning the video with “rough morning” and several crying laughing emojis.
It’s a relief to see Arnold finding some light-heartedness amid the recent tough times, particularly after the Lions’ devastating loss to Washington on January 18, which goes down as one of the worst defeats in Detroit’s history.
