The Nigeria Football Federation is set to introduce the new Head Coach of the Super Eagles, Mr. Éric Sékou Chelle, during a public presentation in Abuja on Monday. The event is scheduled to take place at the Media Conference Room of the MKO Abiola National Stadium at 11am.
NFF President, Gusau, acknowledged the passionate reactions from Nigerians following Chelle’s appointment and urged the nation to come together in support of the new coach. Gusau expressed confidence in Chelle’s abilities to lead the Super Eagles to success and assured that the NFF would provide him with the necessary support.
During the unveiling ceremony, the NFF will also announce the names of Coach Chelle’s assistants. The coaching staff will be in charge of guiding the Super Eagles B team at the upcoming African Nations Championship in East Africa. Following the championship, the focus will shift to the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign, starting with matches against Rwanda and Zimbabwe in March.
