The Goddess Café in Waterkloof, Pretoria, is a unique and empowering dining experience that focuses on women’s self-awareness, self-love, and unity between body, mind, and spirit. Described as a spiritual haven for brunch, kitchen teas, and motivational breakfasts, it is a place where anyone can feel emboldened, regardless of gender.

The café’s aesthetic is distinctly Barbie-pink, with every table meticulously arranged with cute centerpieces, cutlery, and side plates. Upon seating, patrons are greeted with cucumber and lemon-infused water, adding a touch of elegance to the dining experience. The standout feature of the café is its rich and dark arabica coffee, which is expertly brewed to perfection.

The menu at Goddess Café offers a variety of options, ranging from American pancake stacks to omelets and toasties. One can also find healthy choices and novelty items like pink waffles and pancakes. The service at the café is impeccable, with servers going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience.

During a visit to the café, a friend opted for an omelet while the writer challenged the café with a custom order of mince on toast with cheese. The dishes were well-prepared and delicious, although there was a minor issue with the defrosting of the mince. Additionally, the café offers an array of tempting cakes and pastries for those with a sweet tooth.

Adjacent to the café, there is a new home industry store, providing a welcome addition to the area. However, the prices at the store may come as a surprise to some patrons, as they are slightly higher than expected. Despite this, the Goddess Café remains a charming and inviting spot, with the potential to be truly special.

In conclusion, the Goddess Café offers a unique and empowering dining experience, with a focus on self-love and unity. While there are some areas for improvement, such as ensuring proper defrosting of food, the café’s vibrant atmosphere and excellent service make it a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.
