Winter Weather Causes Flight Delays at Denver International Airport

As of Saturday afternoon, at least 497 flights into and out of Denver International Airport (DIA) have been delayed due to winter weather conditions, according to flight-tracking service FlightAware.

Among the airlines experiencing delays are United with 190 flights, SkyWest with 139 flights, Southwest with 131 flights, and smaller numbers for AeroMéxico, Air Canada, American Airlines, Cayman Airways, Copa Airlines, Delta, Frontier, Jazz, and Key Lime Air.

Despite the delays, no flights had been canceled as of 12:15 p.m. on Saturday. DIA spokesperson Keylen Villagrana noted that the airport typically sees a daily average of 1,703 flights this month, including both arrivals and departures.
