The Namibia Business Angel Network (NABAN) has recently unveiled an exciting three-year partnership with Bellatrix SME Finance and Bellatrix Investment Managers during the latest Startup Success Series event. This collaboration will see a total investment of N$450,000 directed towards early-stage innovation in Namibia, with Bellatrix Capital taking on the role of NABAN’s anchor sponsor.

The primary goal of this partnership is to strengthen Namibia’s startup ecosystem by equipping entrepreneurs with the essential resources and networks needed to establish scalable and enduring businesses. Through joint efforts, NABAN and Bellatrix will host various events such as pitch sessions, editions of the Startup Success Series, and investor meetups, all geared towards nurturing the growth of investable ventures.

Aside from event collaborations, the partnership will also concentrate on enhancing founders’ capabilities through finance-readiness workshops, mentorship schemes, and initiatives aimed at boosting investor participation. Furthermore, the collaboration aims to enhance access to flexible financing solutions tailored for growth-oriented and impact-driven startups.

NABAN expressed their enthusiasm for the initiative, emphasizing that the partnership reflects a shared belief in the significance of smart capital, strong networks, and entrepreneurial perseverance. As Namibia’s startup ecosystem continues to progress, this collaboration is poised to play a crucial role in shaping the country’s entrepreneurial landscape.
