Hypeo AI, an innovative artificial intelligence company based in Morocco, has recently secured funding from Renew Capital to revolutionize the process of connecting brands with content creators using advanced, technology-driven solutions.

Co-founded by Meriam Bessa, Oussama Sekkat, and Salah Eddine Mimouni, Hypeo AI aims to tackle the operational challenges faced by the influencer marketing industry. Their platform streamlines the campaign setup process, enabling brand-creator collaborations in just 15 minutes, a significant improvement from the traditional methods that could take days or even weeks.

Through the use of intelligent matching algorithms, real-time performance analytics, and market pricing insights, Hypeo AI’s technology replaces the manual and time-consuming workflows prevalent in influencer marketing. The platform stands out by supporting both human influencers and AI-generated digital personalities, catering to the evolving landscape where virtual influencers are gaining prominence.

One of Hypeo AI’s successful ventures in the virtual influencer space is the creation of AI-powered “Meta Humans” like Kenza Layli. With over 200,000 social media followers, Kenza Layli was even crowned as the first Miss AI 2024 winner, showcasing the company’s prowess in developing engaging digital personalities for marketing purposes.

CEO Meriam Bessa highlighted the importance of smart infrastructure in the North African and Middle Eastern creator economy, emphasizing Hypeo AI’s role in addressing market infrastructure gaps rather than talent shortages.

With the backing of Renew Capital, Hypeo AI plans to enhance its platform capabilities, onboard more creators, and venture into AI-powered wellness coaching products. This expansion strategy signifies the company’s belief in the versatility of its core AI technologies across various industries beyond digital marketing.

Renew Capital, known for investing in tech startups across Africa, recently launched the Renew Venture Lab Fund 2 to support innovative African technology companies and founders, aligning with its mission to drive growth and development in the African startup ecosystem.

Operating from Casablanca and New York, Hypeo AI serves as a bridge between African and American markets, focusing on facilitating brand and creator connections in Africa and the Middle East. The company’s advanced technology addresses inefficiencies in influencer marketing, paving the way for more effective campaigns and enhanced monetization opportunities for creators in the region.
