Meghan Markle Makes a Return to Instagram with a Light Jog on the Beach

According to a spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan’s decision to return to social media is driven by a desire to lead by example and showcase the positive impact that social platforms can have when used responsibly.

The Instagram account will serve as a platform for Meghan to share updates on her work and personal life, allowing her to connect with her followers in a more direct and engaging manner.

In a statement to SkyNews, the spokesperson mentioned that Meghan had engaged in constructive discussions with Meta, the owners of Instagram, about creating safer and healthier online environments for users.

Highlights from the Sussexes’ Christmas Card

Not long before her return to Instagram, Meghan and Prince Harry shared highlights of their year through a heartwarming Christmas card. The card, which was posted on X in 2024, featured several photos capturing special moments from the family’s year.

One of the standout images included in the card was a rare picture of the Sussexes’ children, five-year-old Prince Archie and three-year-old Princess Lilibet. The siblings, with their striking red hair inherited from their father, were depicted running towards their parents with open arms for a hug.

The card also featured a message from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, extending warm wishes for the holiday season and the new year ahead. The release of the card followed Prince Harry’s interview at The New York Times DealBook Summit, where he expressed his contentment with living in California and raising his children in a place that aligns with his late mother’s wishes.

During the interview, Harry touched on various topics, including his views on the media, mental health therapy, and his admiration for the opportunities California offers for his family.

Overall, Meghan Markle’s return to Instagram and the release of the Sussexes’ Christmas card signal a new chapter of openness and connection with their audience, as they continue to navigate life outside the constraints of the royal family.
