Ryan Michael “Reily” English Arrested for Attempted Assassination at Capitol Building

Massachusetts resident Ryan Michael “Reily” English found himself in hot water after being charged with possession of a firearm, in this case, Molotov cocktails, and carrying an explosive on Capitol grounds. The incident took a dark turn as English confessed to authorities about his sinister plans.

English voluntarily surrendered to a Capitol Police officer at the South entrance, revealing his initial intention to kill individuals he deemed as threats. He referred to one of them as a “Nazi” and spoke of deposing them. However, after learning about Bessent’s confirmation online, English shifted his focus to the treasury secretary.

According to the arrest warrant, English admitted to plotting to throw vodka-filled Molotov cocktails at Bessent’s feet. In a chilling revelation, he mentioned that if he could get close enough to the treasury secretary, he would resort to stabbing him. The suspect seemed prepared for the consequences of his actions, acknowledging that he might have to engage with law enforcement, potentially leading to “suicide by cop.”

Capitol Police found a disturbing letter in English’s possession, addressed to a woman and expressing remorse for his anticipated actions. The letter mentioned a possible heart ailment and conveyed apologies for lying and plotting. It contained sentiments of anger towards those who had allegedly pushed him to such extremes.

Despite the gravity of the situation, English’s attorney has yet to provide a statement regarding the case. The unfolding events serve as a stark reminder of the potential dangers lurking within society and the importance of vigilance in preventing acts of violence.
