Livestream: The Law discusses building a people-centered court of justice

Join JoyNews’ The Law live from UPSA Law School for a special public lecture on “Building a Community Court of Justice that Works for Citizens of ECOWAS.”

Justice Edward Amoako Asante, President of the ECOWAS Court of Justice, will be sharing his insights on how to strengthen the Court to serve all citizens effectively and uphold justice across the region.

The ECOWAS Court of Justice plays a crucial role in ensuring that the rights of citizens within the Economic Community of West African States are protected and upheld. As the President of the Court, Justice Asante has been at the forefront of efforts to enhance the Court’s capacity to deliver justice in a timely and effective manner.

During the public lecture, Justice Asante will discuss the challenges facing the ECOWAS Court of Justice and propose solutions to ensure that the Court can better serve the people of the region. From improving access to justice for all citizens to enhancing the efficiency of the Court’s operations, Justice Asante will provide valuable insights into how the Court can be strengthened to meet the evolving needs of the ECOWAS community.
