The Lesotho Football Association recently organized a One-Day Seminar for district Coaches and Coordinators, where they discussed the challenges and successes faced in their respective districts. The event, which took place at the Bambatha Ts’ita Sports Arena in Maseru, brought together 58 coaches and coordinators from ten different districts.

The main objective of the Seminar was to address the issues encountered by the coaches in their districts and to introduce the newly appointed LeFA Technical Director, Mr. Caswell Moru. During the seminar, Mr. Moru shared his vision for the future of football in Lesotho and emphasized the importance of collaboration between the technical department and the district coaches.

The participants were briefed on various aspects of grassroots football, including District Youth Leagues, Schools Football, and Support Programs provided by CAF and FIFA. The seminar also highlighted the importance of women’s football activities and the Talent Development Scheme, which aims to nurture young talent in the country.

Overall, the seminar provided a platform for district coaches and coordinators to exchange ideas, share best practices, and discuss ways to improve football development at the grassroots level. The event was a valuable opportunity for stakeholders to come together and work towards a common goal of enhancing the quality of football in Lesotho.
