South Africa’s Junior Springboks are gearing up to take on Argentina in the opening round of the Rugby Championship U20 at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha. The team, led by former SA U18 lock and national age-group cricketer Riley Norton, is filled with experienced players who have previously represented their country at international level.

Head coach Kevin Foote has assembled a talented match-23 for the upcoming clash against a formidable Argentine side. The starting XV includes standout players such as Wandile Mlaba, Sethu Mnebelele, and the dynamic Riley Norton, who brings a wealth of experience from his time with the SA U19 cricket team.

In the backline, fans can expect to see the likes of Gino Cupido, Cheswill Jooste, and Kyle Smith showcasing their skills on the field. Additionally, utility forward Batho Hlekani and outside back JC Mars are poised to make an impact coming off the bench.
