File photo of a worried woman
Dear GhanaWeb,
As a 32-year-old woman, I have been in a relationship with a man for the past 10 years who I believed was my destiny partner. He is a pastor, and I thought God had brought him into my life.
When we met, he had nothing but a vision. I stood by him through thick and thin, praying, fasting, and investing in his ministry. By God’s grace, the church has grown, and he is now living the luxurious life we once dreamed about.
However, he has now told me that I can’t walk with him into his future. He claims I am not part of God’s plan for the next chapter of his life. After 10 years of building with him, I am left wondering why the Holy Spirit didn’t reveal this to him earlier.
He has offered to compensate me for my sacrifices, but it feels like he is reducing our relationship to money. What hurts even more is the presence of a new lady in the church who he is planning to marry. I discovered their plans through messages on his phone.
Feeling betrayed and used, I am at a loss for what to do. He shows no remorse for his actions, and it is clear that he no longer loves me. I am heartbroken and unsure of how to move forward.
