The Namibia’s U17 Men’s National Team (Baby Warriors) has officially kicked off their preparations for the upcoming COSAFA U217 Championships, scheduled to take place in Johannesburg, South Africa from 4-14 December 2024. The team is gearing up for the tournament with a strong sense of determination and focus, aiming to secure a spot in the 2025 CAF U17 Africa Cup of Nations.
Head Coach Gerald Gunther expressed his confidence in the squad, highlighting the players’ overall fitness and commitment to the upcoming competition. The Baby Warriors are set to face tough competition in the group stage, starting with a match against Zambia on 5 December, followed by clashes against Eswatini on 7 December and Zimbabwe on 9 December.
