Accra Hearts of Oak showcased their dominance in the Ghana Premier League with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Karela United at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium on Sunday. Hamzah Issah’s first-half goal proved to be the difference as the Phobians continued their impressive resurgence.

Despite Karela United’s spirited performance, they struggled to break down Hearts of Oak’s solid defense. The Phobians, on the other hand, executed their game plan flawlessly, maintaining their lead throughout the match.

In the second half, Hearts of Oak pushed for a second goal but Karela United’s defense stood firm. The Phobians’ tactical discipline ensured that Karela United were unable to create any clear-cut chances, securing the crucial three points.

This victory propels Hearts of Oak into the top four of the league standings, moving ahead of their arch-rivals, Asante Kotoko, who have suffered four consecutive defeats this season.

Looking ahead, Hearts of Oak will look to capitalize on their winning streak as they aim for the league trophy. The win also sets the stage for the highly anticipated Super Clash against Asante Kotoko, adding excitement to the upcoming fixture.

Under the guidance of coach Aboubakar Ouattara, fans of the Phobians are optimistic about their team’s chances of silverware this season. Could this be the year for Hearts of Oak to reclaim their dominance in Ghanaian football? Only time will tell.
