The 72nd Miss World pageant has kicked off in India, with the grand finale set to take place on 31 May 2025 at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, Telangana. Representing South Africa this year is the stunning 18-year-old Zoalize Jansen van Rensburg, who was crowned Miss World South Africa last year in a glamorous ceremony at Sun City in the North West.
Zoalize, a native of Pretoria, is not just a beauty queen but also a hardworking young woman. She currently juggles her studies in law with her role as a digital and marketing executive at Scuderia Ferrari South Africa. Despite her busy schedule, she is deeply committed to charitable work and advocacy.
One of the organizations she has partnered with is Unchain Our Children, a non-profit that focuses on addressing various social issues such as gender-based violence, rape, domestic abuse, welfare injustice, and human trafficking. Zoalize is passionate about using her platform to make a positive impact and bring attention to these urgent issues.
Her journey as an advocate began in 2020 after a personal experience where her voice was silenced by an adult due to her age. This led her to launch the youth development initiative, Never Too Young To Advocate. She believes in the power of youth voices and the importance of empowering young people to speak up and be heard.
Zoalize’s story is not just about beauty and glamour, but also about resilience, strength, and a dedication to making a difference in the world. As she competes in the Miss World pageant, she carries with her a message of empowerment and hope for a better future.
Follow Zoalize’s journey on her social media platforms and stay tuned for updates on her quest for the Miss World crown. Let’s support this inspiring young woman as she shines on the world stage and represents South Africa with grace and dignity.
