President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi Holds Meeting with Prime Minister and Minister of Housing

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi recently met with Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny to discuss the progress of various housing projects in Egypt. The meeting, which took place at the Presidential Palace, focused on the executive status of Ministry of Housing projects, including initiatives aimed at providing housing for Egyptian expatriates.

During the meeting, President El-Sisi was briefed on the Your Home in Egypt Initiative and Beit El-Watan Initiative, which aim to provide housing units and lands for Egyptian expatriates in strategic locations across the country. The President emphasized the importance of accelerating the construction work on these initiatives to ensure that adequate housing is provided for all Egyptian citizens, including low- and middle-income families.

In addition to discussing housing projects, the meeting also addressed the implementation status of various development projects, particularly in the North West Coast region. President El-Sisi stressed the need for continuous communication with companies involved in these projects to expedite their completion and maximize their impact on Egypt’s tourism sector.

Furthermore, the President emphasized the importance of leveraging the state’s advanced infrastructure to support ongoing projects and ensure that residential units are offered in a timely manner. He also commended the Ministry of Housing for its efforts in launching new housing projects such as Housing for All Egyptians, Diarna, and Zelal.

Overall, the meeting highlighted the government’s commitment to providing affordable housing for all Egyptians and maximizing the benefits of infrastructure development projects. President El-Sisi’s directives to accelerate the pace of construction work and closely monitor project implementation demonstrate Egypt’s dedication to achieving its development vision.
