Dunkin’ Teams Up with Sabrina Carpenter for New Drink and $5 Meal Deal
Dunkin’ has joined forces with pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter to introduce a new drink and promote a $5 meal deal in a bid to drive sales as we enter 2025.
The popular donut and coffee chain unveiled its Brown Sugar Shakin’ Espresso in a lively campaign featuring the Grammy-nominated singer “shakin’ that ess” to the tune of her hit song. In the promotional video, Carpenter humorously points out the similarity between “Shake That Ess” and another well-known phrase.
The advertisement was produced by Artists Equity, a production company founded by Hollywood stars Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, who previously starred in a Super Bowl commercial for Dunkin’ earlier in the year.
The limited-time iced coffee beverage boasts a blend of espresso, hints of brown sugar, and oat milk, according to Dunkin’.
Jill McVicar Nelson, Dunkin’s chief marketing officer, expressed excitement about collaborating with Carpenter, stating that her energetic and fresh vibe perfectly complements Dunkin’s bold flavors and fun-loving spirit.
In addition to the new drink, Dunkin’ has also introduced a $5 breakfast meal deal available throughout the day on its winter menu. The deal includes two savory Wake-Up Wrap sandwiches, each featuring egg, cheese, and a choice of bacon, sausage, or turkey sausage, accompanied by a medium hot or iced coffee.
To further entice customers, Dunkin’ is expanding its range of online-exclusive discounts. Patrons can now enjoy a discounted $3 Maple Sugar Bacon Breakfast Sandwich with any beverage purchase until January 6. Additionally, from January 1 to January 31, customers will earn an extra 100 bonus points for mobile orders on Mondays. And from January 21 to January 27, mobile customers can order a discounted $3 Hash Brown Brisket Scramble with any beverage purchase.
Taking a cue from the success of McDonald’s $5 Meal Deal, Dunkin’ aims to attract budget-conscious consumers with its own affordable offerings. Other fast-food chains like Wendy’s and Burger King have also introduced similar meal deals to cater to cost-conscious customers.
