DJ Warras dives into the world of podcasting and VIP security
Aside from his television and music endeavors, DJ Warras has made a notable mark in the podcasting realm.
He currently co-hosts The Shady PHodcast alongside DJ PH and has previously collaborated with Penuel The Black Pen and Mac G.
“The podcast continues to thrive, and I’ve been actively involved in various production aspects behind the scenes,” he mentioned.
Moreover, in addition to his media ventures, Warras is the driving force behind JT VIP: Elite Guarding & VIP Protection Services, a security firm specializing in safeguarding high-profile events throughout South Africa, such as the Chris Brown concert.
“My partners and I were actively involved in securing the vicinity during Chris Brown’s concert. We prioritize safety and put in immense effort to ensure it,” Warras explained.
JT VIP also provided security services for the grand dome launch at FNB Stadium on the 10th of February.
“The dome is now an integral part of our safety network, and we want attendees to feel secure throughout their experience, from parking to ticketing and within the venue,” Warras emphasized.
As an artist, Warras foresees the newly unveiled dome as a transformative asset for the entertainment industry.
“This venue will revolutionize the landscape as South Africa lacks large-capacity venues. We need spaces capable of accommodating over 5,000 individuals and resilient against any weather conditions,” he outlined.
“Events not only entertain but also generate employment opportunities, which is vital. A venue like this, strategically located near FNB Stadium, the continent’s largest stadium, adds significant value,” he added.
“Following the closure of the Ticketpro Dome in 2021, a venue of this scale was imperative for hosting large events,” Warras concluded.
