Chelsea are leading the race to sign Borussia Dortmund’s prolific striker Serhou Guirassy in the upcoming summer transfer window. Despite strong interest from Juventus and AC Milan, Chelsea are considered the favorites to secure the services of the talented forward.

Guirassy has been in scintillating form in the Champions League this season, scoring an impressive 13 goals, including a hat-trick against Barcelona. His goal-scoring exploits have caught the attention of top clubs across Europe, with Chelsea closely monitoring his situation as they look to solve their goal-scoring woes next season.

Transfer expert Maurizio Russo has revealed that Guirassy has a €70 million release clause in his Dortmund contract. While this hefty price tag may not deter Chelsea, they will need to be cautious as Juventus are also keen on signing the striker.

Both Juventus and Milan have expressed admiration for the Guinean forward, with Juventus considering him as their main striker for the upcoming campaign. Napoli boss Antonio Conte was also interested in Guirassy last summer, but ultimately opted to sign Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea instead. Conte reportedly would have liked to secure both Lukaku and Guirassy if possible.

Despite Dortmund’s Champions League exit at the hands of Barcelona, Guirassy remains focused on helping his team secure European football next season. He has been in sensational form throughout the 2024/25 campaign, netting an impressive 28 goals in 29 matches across all competitions.

Chelsea are expected to act swiftly in their pursuit of Guirassy as they look to bolster their attacking options and compete for major trophies next season. The Blues will need to move decisively to fend off competition from their rivals and secure the signature of one of the hottest prospects in European football.
