The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially released the match schedule for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025, unveiling six host cities and nine venues for the continent’s most prestigious football tournament.

The much-anticipated opening game will feature the host nation, Morocco, facing off against Comoros on 21 December 2025 at the impressive Complexe Sportif Prince Moulay Abdellah in Rabat. Key fixtures such as the quarter-finals will be held in Rabat, Tangier, Marrakech, and Agadir, while the semi-finals will take place in Rabat and Tangier. The third-place play-off is scheduled for the Stade Mohammed V in Casablanca, with the final set to dazzle spectators on 18 January 2026 at the Complexe Sportif Prince Moulay Abdellah in Rabat.

Morocco’s hosting of AFCON 2025 marks the first time since 1988, showcasing the nation’s modern infrastructure as it prepares to co-host the FIFA World Cup in 2030.
