The Black Eyed Peas have announced that their show in Las Vegas has been postponed. The band was set to perform at PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, but due to unforeseen circumstances, the engagement will not proceed as scheduled. Fans who purchased tickets will receive full refunds automatically from ticket providers.
The trio, consisting of Will.i.am, Apl.de.Ap, and Taboo, had a series of shows planned from mid-February to mid-May. However, they took to Instagram to share the unfortunate news with their fans, known as Peabodies. The post read, “To our dearest Peabodies, we regret to inform you that due to unforeseen circumstances, our Las Vegas events will not proceed as scheduled. Full refunds will be automatically issued by ticket providers. We look forward to seeing you again, so follow us for updates on upcoming performances.”
In a futuristic film released in September, the band announced their residency titled “The 3008 Space Odyssey.” Will.i.am expressed excitement about the opportunity, stating, “Black Eyed Peas’ first residency in Las Vegas allows us to do what we do best—create something fresh and innovative that pushes the limits of the live show experience.”
The cancellation comes as a disappointment to fans who were looking forward to seeing the trio perform in Las Vegas. The Black Eyed Peas would have joined the ranks of other iconic performers like Shania Twain, Mariah Carey, and Janet Jackson who have had successful residencies in the city this year.
While the Las Vegas show may not be happening as planned, fans can stay updated on the band’s upcoming performances by following them on social media. Stay tuned for more updates on when and where you can catch the Black Eyed Peas live in action.
