Tammy Abraham Joins Besiktas on Season-Long Loan from AS Roma
In an exciting transfer move, Turkish giants Besiktas have secured the services of English striker Tammy Abraham on a season-long loan from AS Roma. The 27-year-old forward, who recently underwent a medical in Istanbul, will don the Besiktas jersey for the 2025-26 season, with an option for the deal to be made permanent in the future.
Besiktas has agreed to pay AS Roma a loan fee of 2 million euros for the upcoming season. If certain undisclosed conditions are met, the transfer could become permanent for a fee of 13 million euros, which will be payable in instalments until 2030.
The negotiations between Besiktas, AS Roma, and Tammy Abraham have finally concluded with the player still having one year left on his contract with the Serie A side. Abraham, whose full name is Kevin Oghenetega Tamaraebi Bakumo-Abraham, made a significant impact at Roma after joining from Chelsea in 2021 for a reported fee of 41 million euros (£35 million), notably helping the team secure the 2022 Europa Conference League title.
During the 2024-25 season, Abraham was on loan at AC Milan where he showcased his talent by scoring 10 goals across various competitions. His experience and goal-scoring prowess make him a valuable addition to the Besiktas squad as they aim for success in the upcoming season.
