An Aurora man tragically lost his life on Friday night after being fatally shot in his apartment, as reported by Aurora police. The shooter was still at large as authorities continued their search for the suspect on Saturday.
The victim was found by his downstairs neighbor, who entered the apartment on East Adriatic Drive in the 17100 block after hearing a disturbance around 10:15 p.m. The man had sustained a gunshot wound and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he sadly succumbed to his injuries on Saturday morning. The Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s identity at a later time.
