Super Eagles defender, Ola Aina, showcased his skills on the pitch as Nottingham Forest secured a thrilling 4-3 victory in a penalty shootout against Brighton & Hove Albion to advance to the FA Cup semifinals. The intense game ended in a goalless draw after extra time, leading to a nail-biting penalty shootout.

Aina, who recently represented Nigeria in a FIFA 2026 World Cup Qualifier, returned to his club and put in a solid performance throughout the match. The Forest goalkeeper, Matz Sels, played a crucial role in the penalty shootout by making key saves, including denying Diego Gomez’s attempt and Jack Hinshelwood’s low shot towards the bottom corner.

In another quarterfinal match on Saturday, Crystal Palace secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Fulham to progress further in the competition. The stage is set for more exciting fixtures as second-tier Preston North End is set to host seven-time champion Aston Villa, and Manchester City, also seven-time champions, will face Bournemouth in the remaining quarterfinal games on Sunday.

The FA Cup continues to deliver thrilling moments and unexpected results as teams battle it out for a chance to lift the prestigious trophy. Stay tuned for more FA Cup action and witness the drama unfold as the competition reaches its climax.
