Six Nyamane’s Journey After Leaving Generations: The Legacy
Renowned actress Six Nyamane bid farewell to her role as Nozipho Moroka on SABC 1’s popular soap opera, Generations: The Legacy, on 26 February. The 27-year-old expressed her excitement for new opportunities and growth in her acting career.
Nyamane shared in a TikTok video, “I wanted to [leave]. It was time. I’m a very young actress, and I’m still so hungry for more. I want to travel the world with this craft. I want it to open doors and take me to places I’ve never dreamt of.”
Reflecting on her time on Generations: The Legacy, Nyamane expressed gratitude for the experience and the lessons learned. “I absolutely loved my time there. The family and friends I made were so kind and welcoming. It was an honour to work with each and every one of them. I learned so much — I seasoned myself, added some spice to what I can do. Now I’m ready to show the world this little fire burning inside me.”
What’s Next for Six Nyamane?
Since her departure, Nyamane has been actively pursuing new opportunities in the industry. She recently landed her first television commercial after eight years in the field. Additionally, she is in KZN preparing for her upcoming wedding, describing it as a “big fat wedding.”
Despite leaving Generations: The Legacy, Nyamane remains grateful for the love and support she received from fans who embraced her character, Nozipho. She continues to seek growth and exploration in her acting career, eager to showcase her talent on a global stage.
